Bathurst Winter Festival

One of the most popular regional events in New South Wales, the Bathurst Winter Festival sees the city transform into a vibrant place filled with light displays, outdoor activities and unique dining options. The event takes place over 16 days during the winter school holidays and offers plenty of fun for the whole family.

The Bathurst Winter Festival began in 2015 as part of the city’s bicentennial celebrations, and since then has grown into a popular annual event. Organised by the Bathurst Regional Council, the festival aims to celebrate the history and culture of the region as well as its potential future.

This 16-day event extends across the winter school holidays and gives both children and adults a chance to enjoy a range of family friendly activities. The event features an ice-skating rink, illuminations and light shows, amusement rides, live music and entertainment and host of delicious cuisines to sample.
