    Kids aqua fun
Perfect for the kids, the 140m swim (6-9 years) or 200m swim (10-12 years) is held in the safe confines of the Wollongong Harbour, with lifesavers galore and parents can even accompany their child (if you can swim of course). The run for both ages is 2km out and back along the coastal walk... with everyone cheering on the kids will feel like superstars!
    Try aqua
Just want to give aquathon a little taste to see what it's like, or if you've got what it takes? This 200m swim and 1km run will get you pumped and you'll wonder why you didn't go longer! Don't worry, there's always next year.
    Short aqua
Splash in and splash out of this 400m swim in Wollongong Harbour and 3km run over a flat scenic coastal walk heading north along the Blue Mile Walk way.
    Long aqua
The showcase aquathon of the day, this event attracts some of the country's greatest multisport athletes going around and you can line up next to them for the 900m swim and 7km run.
    While you're there
Wollongong Harbour's Breakwater lighthouse has been inactive since 1974 (a decorative light is displayed on special occasions), but it's still up there with the most visited places in the 'gong for tourists.

For a post swim feed, stay around the harbour and try one of Diggies or the North Kiosk. For a taste of the sea, try Bombora Seafood or the Harbourfront Restaurant.
    Travel and parking
There's plenty of parking in the streets, but there also plenty of people looking for them. Try Flagstaff Hill, or circle the blocks for free parking.
