For art lovers, the Kallangur Water Tank Art is a must-visit. It is a mural on the concrete water tower in the town. The mural is of a large cockatoo bird, which is Kallangur’s official bird, flying high in the sky above a landscape of grass trees.

Ruth Whitfield Memorial Park hosts a memorial model of the AE2 submarine surrounded by beautiful red roses. It has a display with World War 1 facts. The park has amenities like an electric BBQ, tables, and shelters where you can sit and have a picnic. It is child-friendly with play equipment available.

A historical spot to stop by is the Kallangur Town Centre Memorial Park Gate. This is an arch with a statue of two soldiers dressed in full uniform on the left and a statue of a woman and child sitting on a bench. Under the arch is a statue of a soldier kneeling in the garden. There is additional artwork with a mural on the fence behind that arch. The sign beneath the arch on the left gives some background on the war in the area.
